1942 Proof Set
The 1942 Proof Set marked the final early proof set to be produced before the US Mint paused production once again. Proof sets would be issued once again in 1950.Proof coins were sold individually or as part of a complete set. The coins included proof version of the Lincoln Cent, Jefferson Nickel, Mercury Dime, Washington Quarter, and Walking Liberty Half Dollar. All 1942 proof coins had mintages above 20,000.
