1940 Proof Set
The 1940 Proof Set entered a new decade of early proof sets. Mintages showed a boost, bringing all coin mintages above the 10,000 mark.Each complete set contained five coins, the Lincoln Cent, Jefferson Nickel, Mercury Dime, Washington Quarter, and Walking Liberty Half Dollar. The coins were sold individually or as a complete set. The lowest mintage coin is the Washington Quarter with 11,246.
