1939 Proof Set
The 1939 Proof Set was released as the fourth early modern US Proof Set. The mintages remained low but varied from coin to coin.A complete proof set will contain five coins, the Lincoln Cent, Jefferson Nickel, Mercury Dime, Washington Quarter, and Walking Liberty Half Dollar. The proof coins were sold individually or as a complete set. The lowest mintage coin is the Washington Quarter with only 8,795.
